iDCC are a Tier 1 contractor to Government Facilities Services Ltd (MOJ owned company) and are honoured to be given the opportunity to work for this prestigious client. We presently cover all Prisons located within the South of England.
The works undertaken comprised:

• Erection and protection of access scaffold and associated detail required within high security Prisons
• Protection of roofs and fabrics and associated detail required within high security Prisons
• Controlled security waste management and associated detail required within high security Prisons
• Roof Renewal and associated detail required within high security Prisons
• Associated internal repairs to Cell blocks and associated detail required within high security Prisons.

• Working to a fixed and agreed programme of works
• Working in conjunction with Prisoner movement
• Constant communication with the client department / security and MOJ Escorts
• Full understanding and ability to immediately adapt to Prison issues
• To deliver to a high standard of workmanship, ensuring longevity of works to these critical areas.

Operating a lean construction model that has been tailored for HMP and has consistently saved iDCC up to 13% on operational costs against a traditional approach. With shorted lead times, less project downtime and more innovation and cost reduction.

The key to success is fostering close relationships with suppliers, resulting in a joined-up approach between iDCC and our clients all the way through our supply chain. This client was extremely pleased with the enhanced value that resulted from this approach. We constantly completed work on time, on budget we are continuing into our 4th year of these works as well as being invited to tender for other and future projects.
